2. Information you provide

• Account details such as email address, phone number and authentication information;
• Profile information such as name, age or date of birth, gender, city, state, education, occupation, family details, biography and photos;
• Partner preferences and cultural or compatibility information, including kundali and gotra details when you choose to provide them;
• Interests, shortlists, messages, reports, blocks and customer-support communications; and
• Membership, subscription and transaction references. Payment-card details are handled by the applicable payment provider and are not stored by Ristaa unless expressly stated.

3. Information collected automatically

When you use Ristaa, we may collect device and browser type, operating system, IP address, app version, session identifiers, timestamps, diagnostic logs, security events and feature interactions. We use this information to operate, secure and improve the service.

Ristaa uses the city, state or country information you submit for profile and matching features. If a feature asks for more precise location access, we will request device permission before collecting it.

5. When information is shared

Profile information is shared with other Ristaa members as needed for the service and according to available privacy controls. Content you send is shared with its intended recipient.

We may share limited information with contracted providers that support hosting, authentication, communications, payments, analytics, security and customer support. They may process it only to provide those services and under appropriate safeguards.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to investigate abuse or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Advertising and cookies

The public Ristaa website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential operation, security, analytics and advertising. Where Google advertising is present, Google and its partners may use cookies or device signals according to their own policies and applicable consent requirements.

The authenticated Ristaa account experience is designed for matchmaking and account services; advertising integrations are not used to expose private profile messages or private account content.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may pause your profile, request deletion of eligible selected data while keeping your account, or request permanent account deletion.

After verified deletion, protected backups may retain copies for up to 90 days before automatic purge. Minimum security, fraud, payment or legal records may be retained for the period required by applicable law.

8. Security

We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect information, including access controls, authentication, encrypted transport and monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong credential and protect access to your device and email account.

9. Your choices and rights

You can review or update profile data, adjust visibility, pause your profile, block or report members, sign out, and request account deletion. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, restrict, object to or receive a copy of your personal information.

10. Age requirement

Ristaa is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit children to create accounts. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and remove it.
